5 Dreamy Kitchen Nooks That Are Going Make You Forget About This Global Pandemic

Updated: Aug 11, 2020

I have never met a kitchen nook that I didn't want to sit down and get to know... here is a handful that I am in currently in LOVE with...

THE "CLASSY AF NOOK"

This is a nook that I see not only someone enjoying an early morning coffee at but maybe a late-night scotch too...the hint of green (which I am always personally drawn to) adds the perfect amount of impact combined with the brass accents this space just screams CLASSY. I always feel oversized artwork is a great addition to a small space like this - it makes it feel grander!

Design: Steven Sills

THE "WHEN HARRY MET SALLY NOOK"

The combination of masculine and feminine textures and colors make this space feel SO COZY. I love the strong black table with the softer upholstered bench... Its the perfect COMBO. Just like Harry and Sally!

THE "OPEN CONCEPT NOOK"

I am absolutely in love with how they implemented this nook. Check out those niches... love that idea instead of a floating shelf... so unique and a great location if you still need your kiddos insight while you are prepping meals. Lots of room at this table! A great example that you don't HAVE to use a round table!

THE "GOOD VIBES NOOK"

I recently discovered this designer and fell in LOVE with her style. This Scandinavian and minimalist nook has clean, simple lines and finishes which I believe are sometimes all you need. I love that she mixed two different wood materials and chose a black table to create that contrast this space needed. GORGEOUS.

THE "I NEVER WANT TO GO TO WORK NOOK"

If had this nook in my life, I would drink coffee here ALL DAY and ready book after book. The light wood and cozy pillows on the bench are a breath of fresh air. Love how they added the metal pendant above to add a bit of an industrial POP!

Design: Coco & Jack

Could you see yourself having a dining nook in your kitchen? Which one was your favourite? I would love to hear from you!

Until next time...
